BancorpSouth is collecting coats, hats, gloves and blankets until Jan. 31 for donation to shelters in Warren County.

“We are looking for items in good condition,” said Pam Pugh, an executive assistant at BancorpSouth. “This is a new program for us. We began it on Jan. 13, and we’re hoping to get the coats distributed during the winter season.”

She said coats can be dropped off between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at any BancorpSouth branch in Vicksburg: 820 South St., 1240 U.S. 61 North, 3134 Indiana Ave., and 3312 Pemberton Blvd.
