Edward B. and Sonah Y. Perry of North Haven, Conn., announce the birth of an 8-pound, 7-ounce son, Edward Yoobin, on Dec. 12, 2011, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Maternal grandparents are Paul and Maggie Yoo of East Windsor, Conn. Paternal grandparents are Edward and Jimmie Perry of Vicksburg.

The baby is welcomed by a sister, Lydia.
