Mary Ann Stokes of Vicksburg died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Promise Hospital. She was 76.

Mrs. Stokes was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and was a homemaker. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. E.L. Sharp officiating. Glenwood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stokes’ is survived by her husband, Tommy Joe Stokes of Vicksburg; a brother, Noel Jackson of Vicksburg; and two sisters, Elvira Redding of Galveston, Texas and Sybil Thompson of Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C.J. and Clara Jackson; five brothers, Stonewall Jackson, James Jackson, Frances Jackson, Robert Jackson and Leroy Jackson; and a sister, Jeanette Stamy.

Pallbearers will be Donald Gardener, Chris Ables, Sammy Stokes, Terry Jackson, Gary Jackson and Daniel Thompson.
