Natural world superior

In 85-plus years, and like many in my age bracket, I look at the pictures, read the headlines and scan the printed words. Today’s mail brought the first of the Christmas catalogs — a wide assortment of every conceivable greeting for the coming season of “peace and joy.”
How many today know that in the past 85 years, there have been only two whole weeks — just 14 days, 336 minutes, of total world peace where there was no fighting anywhere.
Not a very good batting average for a world ruled by greed by folks with the stupid notion they are better than animals. It’s not so. The natural world is far superior to anything we have been able to copy, thanks to a supreme God with a passion for the most minutes, I think.
