Six sentenced in Warren County Circuit Court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:

• Jack Blackstock, 64, 110 Melissa Drive, pleaded guilty to enticing a child to meet for sexual purposes and was sentenced by Circuit Judge M. James Chaney to five years of probation, a $1,000 fine and $322.50 in court costs. Blackstock was indicted by the grand jury in January 2010.

• Quintarius Brown, 22, 2506 Franklin St., pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling and was sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to five years in prison followed by five years of probation, a $1,000 fine, $322.50 in costs and $7,592.06 in restitution. Brown was arrested Nov. 8.

• Oscar Gonzalez, 26, 110 John Allen, pleaded guilty to statutory rape and was sentenced by Chaney to five years in prison followed by 15 years of unsupervised probation, plus costs of $322.50. Gonzalez, who was arrested Nov. 15, is in the country illegally and will be deported after his prison term has been served, said court documents.

• Malcolm Ray Robertson, 20, no address available, pleaded guilty to vehicle burglary and burglary of a dwelling and was sentenced by Patrick to five years in prison followed by five years of probation, a $1,000 fine, $645 in court costs and $2,250.53 in restitution. Robertson was arrested July 30.

• John Wesley Shelby, 19, 1101 Mississippi 469, No. A6, Edwards, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Chaney to the Mississippi Department of Corrections Restitution Center at Hinds County to pay $1,097.50 in past due fines, costs, restitution and supervision fees followed by five years of probation. Shelby was arrested Aug. 6, 2009, for prescription forgery.

• Robert Lee Williams, 22, 1430 Maxwell St., pleaded guilty to fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer and was sentenced by Chaney to 75 days in jail followed by five years of probation, a $1,000 fine and $322.50 in costs. Williams was arrested Jan. 11, 2009. The sentence will be served concurrent with a Sharkey County sentencing reported April 29.
