Singer Guy Hovis warms up Sunday afternoon ahead of his evening performance, called Let the Eagle Soar, at First Baptist Church. Hovis, a Tupelo native, is best known for his years on “The Lawrence Welk Show.” His Fourth of July-themed performance at FBC is sponsored by Four Seasons of the Arts.
