FEMA sets up site, number for help

Residents and business owners in Warren and surrounding counties affected by flooding may register for aid through the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The assistance is available because President Barack Obama has declared areas of the state a major disaster.

Services include rental and mortgage assistance, repairs and replacement of personal items. Residents and business owners in Adams, Bolivar, Claiborne, Coahoma, DeSoto, Humphreys, Issaquena, Jefferson, Sharkey, Tunica, Washington, Wilkinson and Yazoo counties also may register.
