Patricia N. Simpson died Monday, June 20, 2011, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 70.

Mrs. Simpson was born and raised in Vicksburg. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Simpson; her parents, Thomas Smith Sr. and Pauline Smith; and a brother, Thomas Smith Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Jada and husband Jason Bush of Vicksburg; a brother, Glen Smith of St. Joseph; a sister, Margie Hinson of Vicksburg; and a grandson, Dalen Bush of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home with Dwight Sibley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is tonight from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jason Bush, Dalen Bush, David Smith, Tim Smith, Trey Smith, Melvin Hinson and Brandon Jones.
