Vicksburg man injured in motorcycle wreck

A Warren County man was injured Monday night when his motorcycle left Nine-Mile Cutoff Road.

Robert R. Pee, 56, 106 Colonial Drive, was taken to River Region Medical Center after the one-vehicle wreck was reported at 6:25 p.m., said Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace.

Pee was westbound when he apparently lost control of his 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, Pace said.

Teen faces charge of attempted burglary

A 16-year-old male was released to his parents Monday after he was charged with auto burglary.

The juvenile attempted to break into a 2003 Toyota in the 700 block of Belva Drive and take the radio from the vehicle.

He was seen by a neighbor who called police at 8:15 a.m., said Vicksburg Police Lt. Bobby Stewart.

County man says intruder cut him

A Warren County man was cut in the arm early Monday morning at his home in the 2700 block of Old Highway 27 after an unidentified man broke into his home.

The victim said he fought with the man who came into his home at 2:33 a.m. and was cut by an unknown object during their fight, county records said.

The victim described his attacker as a white male, 5-foot-8-inches tall, 150 pounds, and wearing dark clothing with a dark hat on backward, county records said.

No other information was available.

Mower, TV missing on Demby Drive

A 20-inch push mower valued at $159 and a DVD car TV valued at $250 were reported missing from a house in the 200 block of Demby Drive Friday at 2:45 p.m., said Vicksburg Police Lt. Bobby Stewart.

TV, 4-wheeler, cash among missing items

Eleven thefts were reported in Warren County during the weekend and Monday.

A 37-inch Toshiba TV and several handguns, make and value unavailable, were reported missing from a house in the 300 block of Hankinson Road Monday at 1:43 a.m.

A PlayStation 3 and a webcam, with a total value of $640, were reported missing from a house in the 300 block of Rancho Road Sunday at 1:05 a.m.

An air conditioner valued at $750 was reported missing from a house in the 200 block of Freda Lane Sunday at 7:31 p.m.

About $800 was reported missing from a 1992 Oldsmobile in the 900 block of Blossom Lane Friday at 8:25 a.m.

A 2007 Honda 680 4-wheeler valued at $7,800 was reported missing from a house in the 1500 block of Glass Road Friday at 8:55 a.m.

A purse was reported missing from a Ford Mustang in the 3000 block of Culkin Road Friday at 8:57 a.m. The purse was later recovered.

A Kenwood radio facing valued at $189 and $13 were reported missing from a Jeep in the 100 block of Newit Vick Drive Friday at 9:11 a.m.

A Generac Powerboss 8000 generator valued at $1,300 was reported missing from a house in the 14000 block of U.S. 61 South Friday at 11:12 a.m.

An Alpine CD player and a Rockford Fosgate 300-watt amp with a total value of $500 were reported missing from a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 in the 100 block of Redbud Circle Friday at 1:06 p.m.

A 3-Punch speaker and a Punch amp with a total value of $700 were reported missing from a 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 900 block of Blossom Lane Friday at 3:07 p.m.

About $180 and two prescriptions for Flexeril and one for Suboxone, were reported missing from a house in the 6000 block of Paxton Road Monday at 1:31 p.m.
