James K. “Kenny Boo” Blackmore died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at his home. He was 58.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Banks and Susie Anna Blackmore; a daughter, Cecile Shantay Hall; a brother, Albert James Blackmore; two sisters, Rosie Lee Blackmore and Betty Jean Blackmore; and a grandmother, Josephine Brown.

Survivors include four sons, Kenneth Hall, Corey Hall, Cedric Hall and Sedric Hall, all of Vicksburg; a daughter, Kennette Hall Rader of Vicksburg; two brothers, Leon Blackmore Sr. of Vicksburg and Ellis Blackmore of Las Vegas; five sisters, Josephine Williams, Mary Louise Tyler, Bertha Blackmore and Linda Brisco, all of Vicksburg, and Carolyn A. Williams of Sacramento, Calif.; one stepson, Derrick Hall of Vicksburg; and 10 grandchildren.
