Winnie B. Richardson died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at Promise Hospital. She was 66.

Mrs. Richardson was born in Jefferson County and she was a homemaker. She was a member of Forest Grove Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan Wilson Sr. and IreneGibson Wilson Ward; her husband, Henry Richardson Jr.; two sisters, Irene Moore and Sarah Reed; and two brothers, Willie Wilson and Dan Wilson Jr.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Richardson Mays, Aretha Richardson Hill and Mildred Richardson, all of Port Gibson; one son, Don Louis Richardson of Knoxville, Tenn.; three sisters, Retha Davis of Lorman, Louise Berry and Ollie Shorter, both of Port Gibson; two brothers, Henry Wilson and Nathan Wilson, both of Fayette; ten grandchildren; one God-grandson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church with the Rev. Columbus Felton officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Condolences may be sent via internet at www.rollinsfuneralhome.com.
