Porter Brothers Garage was located on Walnut Street next to City Hall in the 1930s. It later was the site of Neill’s Garage and, in 1962, White’s opened a tire store there. Today the building houses city offices. On the site in the 1840s was the building where the congregation of St. Paul Catholic Church initially met.
