Laura and Roosevelt Jones of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Ella Marie, to Larry Bee Blackmore. Mr. Blackmore is the son of the late Betty Blackmore and Matthew Williams.

Miss Jones is the granddaughter of the late John Ella Jones and the late Ruby Lee Wesley.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was a member of SADD, Just Say No and ROTC.

She is employed at Ameristar casino.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Vicksburg High School, where he was a member of Just Say No and the football team.

He is employed at River Region Medical Center.

Vows will be exchanged March 20, 2009, in a private ceremony. A reception will begin at 6 p.m. March 21 at the Elks Lodge, 916 Walnut St. All relatives and friends are invited to attend the reception.
