PEARL — The Mississippi Braves announce that Atlanta Braves legend Tom Glavine will start for the M-Braves today. The M-Braves will take on the Carolina Mudcats in the fourth game of a five-game series at Trustmark Park. Glavine’s first pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Trustmark Park’s gates will open at 11:30 a.m.

Glavine last pitched in Mississippi on Aug. 9. He gave up three runs on four hits over five innings of work as the Braves lost to the Jacksonville Suns. The future Hall-of-Famer is slated to be Atlanta’s fifth starter this season.
