James Robert Bell Jr. and Miranda Sara-Anderson Hunt were married at 6:30 p.m. June 13, 2009, in a woodland setting at the home of the bride’s parents. Dr. George Hammitt officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Rebecca Hunt of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Billy C. Knox Sr. and Hazel Knox of Wappapello, Mo., and the late Erle N. Metzen and Janie Paine Metzen of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of James Robert Sr. and Alison Bell of Chandler, Ariz., and Vicki Barron Bell of Crystal Springs. He is the grandson of the late Curt Barron Sr., Billie Jean Barron, the late James Bell and Patricia Bell, all of Jackson.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride’s chosen colors were royal blue and orange.

Music was presented by ECA of Hattiesburg.

Maid of honor was Millicent Deborah-Jane Hunt, sister of the bride, of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Keri McGowan of Starkville, Angie Barron of Flowood and Tessa Renae Minder, niece of the bride, of Liberty, Mo.

Calvin Israel III of Jackson served as best man. Groomsmen were Justin Williams of Oxford and J. Trevor Hunt, brother of the bride, of Hattiesburg.

Ushers were John Bowen IV of Vicksburg and Gabriel M. Doelger of Douglasville, Ga.

Flower girl was Arely Skylar Hudson, niece of the bride, of Columbia, Mo. Ring bearer was Richard W. Hunt III, nephew of the bride, of Vicksburg.

A reception followed the ceremony.

Hostesses were Christine Bankert of Millington, Tenn., and Carol Comeaux of Naples, Fla.

The couple will make their home in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The bride is pursuing a degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and is serving an internship at Alvin C. York Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro, and the groom is a student.
