Cash, gun missing in Vicksburg car burglaries

A gun and cash were missing in two car burglaries during the weekend in Vicksburg, police Sgt. Sandra Williams said.

A .45-caliber Colt handgun valued at $950 was reported stolen from a 2009 Dodge pickup in the 1000 block of Main Street at 8:21 p.m. Wednesday.

A purse containing $50 and contents were reported stolen from a 2000 Nissan Maxima in the 3200 block of Drummond Street at 8:57 a.m. Wednesday.

A 10-speed bike was reported stolen from a home in the 1500 block of First East Street at 1:37 a.m. Sunday.

Tools reported missing on Green Hill Road

Power tools were reported missing Wednesday, county records showed.

A Lincoln Arc Welder valued at $850, two Passload pneumatic framing nail guns valued at $600 and a gun staple valued at $75 were reported stolen from an outbuilding in the 1500 block of Green Hill Road at 8:36 a.m.

Woman picked up for drug court

A Vicksburg woman was released to drug court from the Warren County Jail Saturday.

Ashley Burrough, 21, 425 John Russell Drive, was arrested at 8 a.m. Saturday for a drug court sanction and released to drug court later that day, jail records showed.

Two men, woman held for armed robbery

Two Vicksburg men and a woman were in the Warren County Jail charged with armed robbery and another man was being sought.

Anthony T. Jackson, 26, 902 Blossom Lane, and Allen L. Jones, 24, 1511 Spring St., were charged late Saturday with three counts of armed robbery of a residence at the Apple Orchard Apartments, 902 Blossom Lane, jail records showed.

Karie Calvary, 27, Battlefield Campground, was arrested at 3:05 p.m. Saturday and later charged with three counts of armed robbery, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Calvary went to the victim’s home claiming to be in medical distress to gain entrance into the home, Pace said.

All three were being held without bond.

Pace did not release the name of the suspect officials are seeking. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
