Warner, Bass are wed Feb. 21 in Las Vegas

Jack Warner and Caroline Bass were married Feb. 21, 2009, at the MGM Grand Hotel Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin E. Kerstine of Vicksburg and James M. Bass of Charleston, S.C. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph W. Ferrell of Blanton and Marjorie S. Bass and the late James C. Bass of Enterprise.

The groom is the son of Jack Allen Warner of Michigan City, Ind., and Cynthia Marie Warner of San Antonio, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ed Warner of Whiting, Ind., and Elenor Levonduski and the late David Levonduski of Michigan City, Ind.

The bride was escorted by her brothers, Blakeley Ferrell Ward of Jackson and Samuel Gaines Bass of Vicksburg. She wore a diamond necklace, a gift from the groom, and an heirloom diamond bracelet, a gift from her mother.

Matrons of honor were the bride’s mother and Elizabeth Leigh Ellis Ward, the bride’s sister-in-law. Maid of honor was Shana Marie Spencer of Vicksburg.

Blake Ward served as best man. Groomsmen were Sam Bass of Vicksburg and Frank James McClellan of Hartselle, Ala.

A seated dinner honoring the bride and groom followed the ceremony at Emeril’s Restaurant in the MGM Grand Hotel.

The couple was honored with a Vegas-themed local reception Feb. 28 at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club.

Guests were entertained with music by Marc Doyle and the Blues Dudes. Additional performers included Warren Ellis, Jarrod Minor and Angela Lovins.

Attending the bride at the reception were Betsy Ward, sister-in-law of the bride, and Molly McDonald, cousin of the bride, both of Jackson; Kristen Warner Codish, sister-in-law of the bride, and Samantha Tarnabine, both of Dallas; Adelyn Wolverton and Allison Bell, both of Memphis; Anna Stone of Glen Allan; Brandy Mumford of Clinton; Heather Ford of Pascagoula; Amy Harmon of New Orleans; and Shana Spencer, Dixie Ellis, Michelle Mullin, Melody Bower, Jamie Jones, Liem Walker, Angie Carly and Rebecca Oswald, all of Vicksburg.

Attending the groom at the reception were Blake Ward, Sam Bass and Todd Codish, brothers-in-law of the groom; Frank McClellan; Jeff Ho of Indianapolis, Ind.; Dave Maddox of Kokomo, Ind.; and Scott Mullin, Palmer Shiers, Michael Oswald, Jarrod Minor and Johnny Ferracci, all of Vicksburg.

Special assistant was Camilla Calnan of Candler, N.C., formerly of Vicksburg.

The couple and their daughter, Addison Claire, will make their home in Greensboro, N.C.

The groom, employed by GF Management, received a master’s degree in hotel management from Purdue University.

Dinner

Out-of-town friends and family enjoyed a dinner at Eddie Monsour’s Restaurant on the eve of the reception.

Brunch

A celebration brunch was held at Anchuca Mansion the day of the reception. Hostesses were Elise Smith and Marion Chase, both of Brandon; Phyllis Adams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Dot Moore and Cheryll Ludwig, both of Rolling Fork; Carlyn Mc-Kinney of Natchez; Michelle Garner of Raleigh; and Betsy Ward. Special guests were the groom’s mother and sister.

Shower

The bride was honored with a lingerie shower and bachelorette party hosted by Shana Spencer, Melody Bower, Liem Walker, Selena Madison and Jamie Jones, all of Vicksburg, and Allison Bell of Memphis. Special guest was the bride’s mother.
