Winfield elected mayor

Democrat Paul Winfield Tuesday unseated two-term Mayor Laurence Leyens in Vicksburg voting. With all precincts reporting Winfield had 62.9% and Leyens had 37.1.
With 11 of 11 precincts reporting:
Paul Winfield – 4104 …. 62.9%
Laurence Leyens – 2416 …. 37.1%
