Miss Loud, Mr. Hicks to recite vows July 25

Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Loud of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Nicole, to John Michael Hicks Jr. Mr. Hicks is the son of John Michael Hicks Sr. of Irving, Texas, and Dinah Davis of Vicksburg.
Miss Loud is the granddaughter of the late Grover and Lillian Patterson of McComb and the late Willie and Rosie Lee Britton of Vicksburg.
Mr. Hicks is the grandson of Eugene and Linda Jackson of Tallulah and the late John and Annie Mae Hicks of Vicksburg.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader, homecoming maid and a member of DECA. She was a 2001 Mississippi Debutante.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Indiana University.
Miss Loud is a marketing coordinator for State Farm.
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Warren Central High School, where he was an All-District and All-State football player.
He received an associate degree in liberal arts from Northeast Community College, where he was named an honorable mention Juco All-American in football. He will graduate in the fall with a Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education from Alcorn State University.
Mr. Hicks is a heavy-equipment operator for Alcore Contracting.
The wedding will be at 4 p.m. July 25, 2009, at Greater Grove Street Baptist Church. A reception will follow at Vicksburg City Auditorium. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
