Miss Bridges to marry Mr. Torrain on Aug. 8

Georgia Lynn Bridges and Danny Mariece Torrain, both of Vicksburg, will be married in a private ceremony at 7 p.m. Aug. 8, 2009, at Cedar Grove Mansion. A reception will be held in Port Gibson at a later date.
Miss Bridges is the daughter of Larry and Jula Bridges of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Jose Saldana and Florencia Saldana of Tallulah and Joe Bridges and the late Frances Bridges of Alabama.
Mr. Torrain is the son of David Jr. and Lorine Torrain of Port Gibson. He is the grandson of the late Rev. William and Ethel Walker and the late David Sr. and Roberta Torrain, all of Claiborne County.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was a member of SADD, Just Say No and Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
She attended Hinds Community College in Raymond.
Miss Bridges is a cage cashier at Riverwalk Casino.
The prospective groom is a 1989 graduate of Port Gibson High School, where he was in the band.
He attended Texas A&M University in Prairie View, where he was in the band.
Mr. Torrain is employed at LeTourneau.
