STARKVILLE —  With consideration for anticipated chilly overnight temperatures this weekend, the opening day game times for the season-opening BankFirst Baseball Challenge at Dudy Noble Field have been moved up.

Mississippi State’s 119th baseball season-opener has been reset for 5 p.m. Friday as the Bulldogs usher in the new season against the Northern Illinois Huskies. The opening game of the three-day, six-game BankFirst Baseball Challenge between Northern Illinois and the University of North Florida Ospreys will now start at 1 p.m.
