Thomas Aaron Corbin Sr. died Sunday, May 3, 2009, in Gulfport. He was 51.

Born in New Orleans, Mr. Corbin was reared in Vicksburg and was a resident of Vancleave. He was a graduate of Warren Central High School.

He was a master electrician for Krol Electric of Gulfport and was a member of the local Electrical Union.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Aaron Corbin and Lena Mae Williams Corbin.

He is survived by two children, Brandi Lynd Corbin and Thomas Aaron Corbin Jr., both of Vicksburg; three sisters, Jeannie Dick of Vancleave, Barbara Grey of Utica and Kathy Gary of New Hebron, Miss.; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Riles Funeral Home with James Busby officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the service.

Pallbearers will be Mac McKnight, Wes Burroughs, Denis Hogan, James Parker, David Garrick, George Ameen, Andrew Riley and Ford Emery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Grey Jr., Edward McKnight, Preston Riley, Ethan Smith, Nathan Smith, Bob Zambroski and Buddy Douglas.
