Ida Mae Rowley Copelin died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 88.

Mrs. Copelin was preceded in death by her parents, John T. and Josephine F. Rowley; her sister, Oviezine Rowley Morgan; two brothers, John Carroll Rowley and Hugh Rowley; her husband, Hollis Edwin Copelin; and son, Clyde LeRoy Copelin.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Douglas Copelin (Tricia) and Timothy Roscoe Copelin; three brothers, Carroll Rowley, Sedgie Rowley and Doyle Rowley; four grandchildren, Melanie Copelin, Dirk Copelin (Melissa), Michael Copelin (Rachel) and Jamie Copelin (Michelle); five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia with a a graveside service to follow at Darbun Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service.

Memorials may be made to The Church of the Holy Trinity, Episcopal, in Vicksburg.
