City Reserve member gets rank promotion

A Vicksburg resident who is an Army colonel is being promoted to the rank of brigadier general.
Joe E. Chesnut, is part of the 416th Theater Engineer Command, based in Darien, Ill. He will be the deputy commander of the 416th, which is made up of about 12,000 Reserve troops in engineer units.
Chesnut joined the Reserve in the 1980s. He has served in Iraq.
