Miss Carr, Mr. Mize to recite vows July 25

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lyndal Carr Jr. of Tupelo, formerly of Vicksburg, announce the engagement of their daughter, Bonnie Lyndal, to Paul Eugene Mize III. Mr. Mize is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Eugene Mize Jr. of Tupelo.
Miss Carr is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lyndal Carr Sr. of Vicksburg and Lamar Tracy Loe and Georgia Cook Loe, both of Jackson and formerly of Vicksburg.
Mr. Mize is the grandson of Jack Raymond Reed Sr. and the late Frances Purvis Reed of Tupelo and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Eugene Mize Sr. of Fulton.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Tupelo High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and Anchor Club.
She received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of Gamma Beta Phi, National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Kappa Delta sorority.
Miss Carr is a division accountant for the Carpenter Company of Tupelo.
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Tupelo High School, where he was a member of the soccer team and an Eagle Scout recipient.
He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi, where he was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Sigma Chi fraternity.
Mr. Mize is a loan officer for BancorpSouth in Tupelo.
The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m. July 25, 2009, at First United Methodist Church in Tupelo. A reception will follow at the home of the groom’s parents.
