Miss Jett and Mr. Ware to recite vows Oct. 17

Dr. Pamela L. Jett and Michael Kevin Rasch of Vicksburg and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Wayne Jett of Rockville, Md., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Jolly, to Matthew Rutledge Ware. Mr. Ware is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Harold Ware of Memphis.

Miss Jett is the granddaughter of Gloria Dean Jett and the late Raphael Carson Jett of Lewisport, Ky.; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Curtis Newton of Hawesville, Ky.; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Emmett Rasch of Dyersburg, Tenn.

Mr. Ware is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Leo Ware Sr. of Jackson, Tenn., and Sarah Sewell Babb of Columbia, Tenn.

The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Aloysius High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communicative disorders from the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.

She received a Master of Arts degree in speech language pathology from the University of Memphis.

Miss Jett is a speech language pathologist for Le-Bonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Memphis University School. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance from the University of Tennessee, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.

Mr. Ware is an account executive for institutional sales at Duncan-Williams Inc. in Memphis.

Vows will be exchanged at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17, 2009, at St. Paul Catholic Church. A reception will follow at The Duff Green Mansion.
