The engagement of Amber Kaye Bobb to George Barnett Slade, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. The wedding will be at 2 p.m. April 11, 2009, at Solid Rock Pentecostal Church, U.S. 61 North. A reception will follow at a family location. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Bobb is the daughter of Sheila Love and Eddie Bobb of Vicksburg. 

Mr. Slade is the son of Brenda Slade of St. Joseph, Mo.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Warren Central High School. She is employed in records at the Vicksburg Police Department.

The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Warren Central High School. He is employed in MIS at Horizon Casino.
