Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wayne Sullivan Sr. of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Gene, to Charles Ray Conerly. Mr. Conerly is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Conerly of Brandon.

Miss Sullivan is the granddaughter of Klare Bazsinsky Sullivan and the late Aubrey L. Sullivan Sr. of Clinton and Norma Dew Babin of Vicksburg and the late Dr. Wayne L. Babin of Hattiesburg.

Mr. Conerly is the grandson of Agnes Conerly and the late Monroe Conerly of Brandon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Olen May of Benton, Ark.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Cornerstone Christian Home School. She attended Hinds Community College.

Miss Sullivan is a dental assistant in Brandon.

The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Puckett Attendance Center. He attended Hinds Community College.

Mr. Conerly is employed in aircraft maintenance with the 172nd Airlift Wing.

The wedding will be April 18, 2009, at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club. A reception will follow.
