WC takes win over St. Aloysius|Prep tennis

Warren Central took on St. Aloysius Wednesday at Halls Ferry Park and earned a 6-1 match victory. The Vikings (6-1) got wins from Jamel Dagher in boys singles, Shelby Claire Liddell in girls singles, along with both boys and girls doubles teams. St. Al’s lone point came in mixed doubles as Jeremy Falls and Brianna Beesley won 6-0, 6-1.

Dagher defeated Michael Foley 6-0, 6-1. Liddell downed Kori Vesel 6-3, 6-3. The Viking boys No. 1 pair of Braddock Oaks and Clay Koestler took a 6-2, 6-4 decision over Steven Cialone and Austin Mathis while the No. 2 team of Tom Melby and Ross Rhett won 6-2, 6-4 over Taylor Henry and Carlton Campbell.

The girls doubles of Bailey Howington and Jill McVan downed Ellen Whitaker and Katie Floyd 6-1, 6-0 in No. 1 girls doubles while the No. 2 team of Lauren Pratt and Katie Humphries won 6-0, 6-1.
