Alric Vincent Brown

Alric Vincent Brown died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 89.
Mr. Brown was born in Red Lick and had lived most of his life in Vicksburg. He was retired from WES and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Magdoline Barouse; and two brothers, Ray Brown and Jimmie Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Frances McCain Brown of Vicksburg; a son, Paul Vincent Brown of Florida; a daughter, Shelia Blalack of Vicksburg; a brother, Ezekiel Brown of Marietta, Ga.; four sisters, Polly Jenkins of Vicksburg, Christine Walters of Lorman, Flora Ann Frazier of Jackson and Frances Smith of Pearl; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Catholic Church with Monsignor Patrick Farrell, officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres with Glenwood Funal Home in charge. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. Tuesday until the hour of the service at the church.
