Cissy Coleman schedules spring cooking classes

Spring cooking classes by Cissy Coleman will begin Feb. 17 featuring recipes for Carrot Soup, Chicken and Corn Chowder with Sweet Potates. Beef Burgundy Stew and Drop Biscuits.
The March 26 class will feature an elegant dinner party with a menu of Marinated Beef Tenderloin, Wild Rice, Brussel Sprouts with Mustard Sage Sauce and Coeur a la Creme with fresh strawberries,
A Giant Tortellini with Wild Mushroom Butter Sauce, Asparagus Salad with Goat Cheese and Lemon Vinaigrette and Caramel Cookies and Avocado Smoothie will be taught April 22.
Classes, which are held at Coleman’s home, 1900 Tucker Road, are $50 each, begin at 6:30 p.m. and last approximately 2 hours.
