Tickets are on sale for the Fourth Annual Miller Lite Crawfish Boil, set for May 1-2 at the coliseum in Jackson.

Headlining performers will include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Snoop Dogg and Hinder.

Performing May 1 will be Framing Hanley at 5 p.m., Filter at 6:10, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus at 7:20, Flyleaf at 8:30 and Snoop Dogg at 10. Performing May 2 will be Sally Jane at 2:50 p.m., Black Stone Cherry at 3:40, Hurt at 4:50, Theory of a Deadman at 6, Hinder at 7:10, LL Cool J at 8:30 and Lynyrd Skynyrd at 10.

KVWB adds dates to cleanup effort

The Great American Cleanup, sponsored by Keep Vicksburg-Warren Beautiful, has added work sites and dates to its schedule.

Cha cha the dance at Southern Cultural

This month’s ballroom dance lesson, presented by studio owner James Frechette, will be the cha cha. The classes will be at 5 p.m. April 5 and 19 at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center Academy Building.

A Chocolate Affair headed to SCHF

The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation will present A Chocolate Affair, a food and entertainment event, at 7 p.m. May 7.

The event will feature chocolate desserts, drinks and entertainment by pianist Jim Robinson and vocalist Maria Adona. Food and drinks will be provided by Café Anchuca, Just Desserts, Main Street Market, The Liquor Store and Ameristar Casino. Monsour’s at the Biscuit Company, Café Anchuca, Beechwood Restaurant and Toney’s Restaurant are offering 10 percent discounts to diners who show their Chocolate Affair tickets that evening.
