Services for Nathan Carson Sr. will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Center with the Rev. James Archer officiating. Burial will follow at Wright Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 until 6 p.m. Friday at Robbins Funeral Home and Saturday at the center from noon until the service.

Mr. Carson died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at his home. He was 61.

He is survived by one son, Reginald Johnson of Vicksburg; two daughters, Andrea Carson and Ashley Miller, both of Vicksburg; five stepdaughters, Chinikka Ferguson, Erica Ferguson, Stephanie Ferguson, Jimmeshia King and Gloria Miller, all of Vicksburg; two stepsons, Tracie Ferguson and Eric Ferguson, both of Vicksburg; one brother, Walter Carson of Vicksburg; three sisters, Mary Juanita Carson, Minnie Bell Carson and Carolyn Parker, all of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including Shirley Ferguson and members of the Fisher, Flaggs and Robinson families.
