ROLLING FORK — The Rev. Thomas Edison Wilson Sr. died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at Promise Hospital. He was 84.

The Rev. Wilson attended Emory University and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a Shriner and a 32nd degree Mason. He served as a Methodist minister for 60 years.

Survivors include his wife, June Evans Wilson of Rolling Fork; a brother; a sister; and a number of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Mount Zion Cemetery in Ellisville. Burial, directed by Glenwood Funeral Home of Rolling Fork, will follow.
