Nancy Jean Wade Pilcher

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Nancy Jean Wade Pilcher of Little Rock, Ark., died Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Parkway Village in Little Rock. She was 83, a native of Vicksburg and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge until 1998, when she moved to Little Rock.

Nancy was a graduate of LSU, a member of Chi Omega and a retired State of Louisiana social worker. She was a member of Broadmoor Methodist Church in Baton Rouge and of Highland Valley United Methodist Church in Little Rock.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, J.O. Pilcher Jr. of Baton Rouge; her parents, Susie and James Wade; and a sister, Eleanor Geary, all of Vicksburg.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Dr. Greg Bienvenu of North Little Rock and Kathy and Skip Kramer of Ranger, Ga.; and three grandchildren, Suzanne Bienvenu, Little Rock, Catherine Bienvenu, Baton Rouge, and Matt Bienvenu, Little Rock.

Private funeral services will be held in Little Rock with graveside service in Baton Rouge. Arrangements are by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 501-224-8300.
