Sandra Lynn Strong died Friday, July 10, 2009, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 54.

Mrs. Strong was an Arkansas native and lived most of her life in the Utica-Carpenter area. She was a member of the Utica Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford Strong; two sons, Steven Legg of Vermont and Dustin Strong of Savannah, Ga.; two daughters, Brandy Legg of Arlington, Va., and Megan Strong of Carson City, Calif.; one brother, C.L. “Lewis” Jones Jr. of McGehee, Ark.; one sister, Glenda Herrin of Russellville, Ark.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Utica Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Collins Cemetery in Dermott, Ark.

Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica has charge of arrangements.
