Warren Central finished third in the Class 5A South State powerlifting meet on Saturday and several Viking lifters earned invites to the upcoming state meet. The top three lifters in each weight class advance to the state meet. Jericho Harris finished second in the 220-pound class with a total lift of 1,350 pounds. Jamal Johnson finished second in the 275-pound class with a total lift of 1,350 pounds. Steven Jordan finished second in the 308-pound class with a 1,435-pound total lift. Brandon Bailey qualified with a third-place finish in the 114-pound class with a 550-pound total lift.
