Mrs. Bonnie H. McClung died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 82.
Mrs. McClung was born in Warrior, Ala., and had lived in Vicksburg for the past 63 years. She retired from Sears & Roebuck Co. after 30 years of service as a representative in telephone and catalog sales.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Frank” McClung; one daughter, Beverly Jean McClung; a brother, Leroy Hardin; and her parents, Marvin and Floy Hardin.
Survivors include a son, Dale McClung of Vicksburg; two daughters, Annette Spring of Vicksburg and Judy Carol Marsicano of Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers, Marvin Hardin, Harold Hardin and Bob Hardin, all of Dora, Ala.; one sister, Mildred Freeman of Sumiton, Ala.; six grandchildren, Page Bublik of Fort Worth, Shane Marsicano of Grand Prairie, Texas, Jennifer Wozencraft of Gautier, Corey Jacobson of Asheville, N.C., and Kelli Dispenza and Erin Spring, both of Vicksburg; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be John Brooks, Trey Bublik, Adam Hodnett, Bill Libbey, Shane Marsicano, David Spring and Shawn Wozencraft.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the “Out to Lunch Bunch,” Pete and Josephine Montalbano, Doc and Marjorie Thornell, Frank and Barbara Whitaker, Buddy Bass and Pat McNair.
