Dorothy Brown Cobb, 82, went to be with our Lord Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is from 6 until 8 tonight at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, in the funeral home chapel with burial at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Dorothy was a longtime employee of Jitney Jungle and Trustmark Bank. She retired from Citizens Bank in Pearl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, R.J. and Nellie Brown; brother, James Brown; sister, Marcelle Stanford; grandchildren, Amanda Woodrick and Hunter Cobb; and great-granddaughter, Sarah Alice Adams.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clifford C. Cobb Jr. of Pearl; children, James C. and Linda Cobb of Canton, Carol and Bill Smith of Magee, Marie and Bill Woodrick of Vicksburg, David and Trina Cobb of Clinton and Sharon and Pete Brim of Pearl; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
