Peggy Sue Rayburn died today, April 23, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 58.

Born in Washington Parish, La., Mrs. Rayburn had been a Vicksburg resident for the past 40 years.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jay Rayburn and Christopher Rayburn; and two brothers, Robbie Murphy and Connie Murphy.

She is survived by one son, Billy Rayburn of Vicksburg; one daughter, Sonya Brown of Vicksburg; her mother, Aline Murphy of Talisheek, La.; a sister, Sandy Faye Norman of Talisheek; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Charter Oak Baptist Church in Hickory, La. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Home of Hickory. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg.
