A Vicksburg man was in the Warren County Jail Saturday after being charged with aggravated assault.

Lionell Martin, 36, 2809 Ken Karyl Ave., was arrested at 8:42 a.m. at a residence on Jeannette Street, said police Lt. Frank Phelps. A warrant had been issued for Martin’s arrest and police were informed that he was at the residence, Phelps said.

Martin remained in jail awaiting bond.

24 bottles of beer missing from bar

A business burglary was reported in the city Saturday morning.

Town and Country Lounge, 3350 N. Washington St., was reported burglarized at 9:34 a.m., said Lt. Frank Phelps.

Stolen were 24 bottles of beer, 23 Bic lighters and $30 in quarters.
