Sherman Avenue Elementary student Tre’Veyon Huntley, 7, puts a Relay For Life donation into teacher Mary Katherine Ellis’ bucket Monday. Ellis, dressed as The Birthday Fairy, and other teachers donned costumes and collected money for the cancer research and education cause. The school has raised at least $5,000, its goal, and will continue its campaign through April 22. Warren County’s Relay for Life, a 12-hour event, will kick off at 6 p.m. April 24 at Warren Central High School’s stadium.
