Norma Lee Jackson died Thursday, March 19, 2009, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 73.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Matilda Brown.

Survivors include her husband, James Jackson Jr. of Vicksburg; two sons, Larry A. Johnson of Arlington, Texas, and James D. Jackson of Vicksburg; two daughters, Essie Porter of Las Vegas and Darlene R. Jackson of Vicksburg; two sisters, Edna Collins of Kansas City, Mo., and Barbara J. Brown of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a brother, Charles F. Brown of Grand Rapids; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
