A bake sale and barbecue chicken plate will highlight the Porters Chapel United Methodist Church annual fund raiser Saturday. The event, sponsored by the Men’s Club, will begin at 10 a.m. with the bake sale, and barbecue festivities will follow from 11 a,m. to 1 p.m.

The menu includes chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, bread, dessert and tea. Several combinations will be offered: the regular plate, $7.50; add a piece of chicken, $1,50.These plates are for dine-in or take-out.

Chicken-only plates, 4 pieces only, no extras, $8, are for take-out only.
