Mr. Pampley marries Miss Purvis

Mack Charles Pampley III and Chevonne Antionette Purvis were married at 5 p.m. Sept. 5, 2009, at Word and Worship in Jackson. Harold Brewer officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Donald and Yvonne Purvis of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of Lola Crawley and Annie Battle.

The groom is the son of Fran Pampley of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Sadie Pampley of Vicksburg and Janet Hartman of Chambersburg, Pa.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were chocolate and candy-apple red. Music for the ceremony was performed by Gwen Hardin.

Maid of honor was Daisy Carter of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Lolita Crawley of Byram and Miranda Kincaid of Louisville.

Junior bridesmaid was Genesis Fort of Jackson. Junior bride was Brianna Cager of Jackson.

Corey Williams of Jackson served as best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Simpson of Southaven and Devaughn Purvis of Tampa, Fla.

Ushers were Brandon Sanders of Jackson and Talmadge Robinson of Byram.

Flower girls were Marian Kincaid and McKenna Elder, both of Louisville. Ring bearer was Carter Wilson.

A reception followed at the Mississippi e-Center. Hostesses were Kiara Booker, Jasmine Stevens and Lasharon Purvis.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Cozumel. They will make their home in Jackson.

The bride is employed at East Lakeland Ob-Gyn & Associates and Baptist Medical Clinic. The groom is employed at Warren-Yazoo Mental Health.
