Clothes, games missing from Arcadia Place home

Clothing and games were hot items in one of two burglaries reported in the city Wednesday and this morning.
Sgt. Sandra Williams said shirts, shoes, jewelry, video games and a video game console valued at about $1,800 were reported taken from a home in the 2900 block of Arcadia Place at 1:29 p.m. Wednesday.
Separately, a .25-caliber handgun and a fireproof safe, no descriptions or values given, were reported stolen from a home in the 1500 block of Military Avenue at 12:25 this morning.
Police responding to an alarm at Colonial Discount Drugs on Mission 66 and Grove Street found someone had attempted unsuccessfully to break in at 3:30 a.m. today, Williams said.
Lawn mower, trailer missing in county
In the county, several items were reported stolen from homes Wednesday, Warren County Sheriff’s office records showed.
A Murray push lawn mower valued at $299 and food valued at $150 were reported stolen from a home in the 4400 block of Lee Road at 10:07 a.m. Wednesday.
A 6-foot trailer with a brown wooden bed valued at $1,000 was reported stolen from Azalea Trace Apartments on Fisher Ferry Road at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday.
