Four auto burglaries reported in Blakely

Four auto burglaries were reported in the Blakely subdivision off U.S. 61 North in the county on Saturday.
Reported at 4:06 a.m.:
• A Smith and Wesson .357 D revolver valued at $350, a Samsung cell phone valued at $300, a Nokia phone valued at $150 and $50 were reported missing from a vehicle in the 300 block of Blake Drive.
• Also in the same block, a Dual DVD/MP3 player valued at $200 was reported missing from a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.
• A Nokia phone valued at $250 was reported missing from a Chevy Z-71 in the 200 block of Marilyn Drive.
• A Browning .22-caliber pistol valued at $300 and a Tom Tom navigation system valued at $250 were reported missing at 10:09 p.m. from a vehicle in the 200 block of Sandy Lane.
Separately, cash in the amount of $350 was reported missing in the city at 9:16 a.m. Saturday from a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix.
Laptop computers hot
in weekend burglaries
Four residential burglaries were reported in the county and the city during the weekend.
• Two commercial weed trimmers both valued at $1,300, a Craftsman tool box valued at $2,500, a Hilti hammer drill valued at $754 and a Hilti cordless drill valued at $400 were reported missing at 2:09 p.m. Friday from a home in the 100 block of Vines Road.
• A Stihl weed trimmer valued at $200 was reported missing at 11:53 a.m. Friday from a shed of a home in the 200 block of Culkin Road.
• A Gateway laptop valued at $800 was reported missing at 10:05 p.m. Saturday from a home in the 900 block of China Street.
• A Dell laptop valued at $700 was reported missing at 4:44 p.m. Sunday from a home in the 2700 block of Alcorn Drive. The laptop was later found at another residence in the same block
