A third person was being sought today in the methamphetamine-manufacture case that saw two others arrested Friday night.
Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart declined to identify the third suspect in the drug bust at 9:54 p.m. his department conducted with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
Robert Sherman, 34, 4407 Halls Ferry Road, Lot 37, and Calvin L. Brewer, 24, 320 Woodham Road, who were arrested at Sherman’s home, were being held without bond at Issaquena County Jail this morning, awaiting their first court appearances.
“They were arrested after complaints of a chemical smell in the area,” Stewart said. Officials found “precursors at the home, and in a wooded area behind the residence, we found a shake-and-bake lab,” Stewart said. “One other male fled on foot, who we’re currently seeking.”
