The state Court of Appeals has upheld the conviction of a Rolling Fork man in the 2005 armed robbery and killing of a Vicksburg contractor.
Roderick Rashael Lewis was convicted in 2006 in Warren County Circuit Court. He was sentenced to two consecutive life terms.
Prosecutors contended Lewis and three others went to Kenneth Williamson’s home at 2841 U.S. 61 South with Lewis planning to rob and kill his boss. Williamson was found shot to death in his bedroom.
The Appeals Court on Tuesday rejected Lewis’ claims that prosecutors didn’t prove his guilt.
