Pace said a resident reported seeing men loading property into a Mercury Marquis in the 5500 block of Nailor Road at about 9 a.m.

Two deputies stopped the four men in the vehicle minutes later on Marguerite Drive, Pace said.

“They still had the stolen property in their laps,” he said. “We feel we’ve recovered most of the property.”

Deputies later returned to the neighborhood for a door-to-door check and found a back door kicked in at the house from which the goods were stolen, Pace said. They then alerted the homeowner.

All four men were being held without bond in the Warren County Jail pending their initial hearings.
